We found our way to a rooftop on the corner of Ludlow and Grand.
Looking Southwest towards the auxiliary-lit financial district.
The city was dark and quiet as people slept on their roofs. Power wouldn't come on until the next evening.
Candles lit window sills as the Lower East Side rested.
The city was without its omnipresent hum of taxis, airplanes, people and trains. It was as if the city itself had gone to sleep.
